Scotty Edwards is a 6'1", 205-pound safety from Holladay, Utah, who played at Olympus High School before serving a two-year mission in Johannesburg, South Africa. Edwards joined Stanford as a three-star recruit in the 2020 class. As a sophomore in 2023, he started 10 games and tied for the team lead with two interceptions while recording 45 tackles. In 2024, his junior year, he made 11 starts and tallied 80 tackles, the second-most on the team, along with 2.0 tackles-for-loss. During the 2025 redshirt junior campaign, Edwards appeared in 11 games with seven starts, posting 54 tackles (32 solo), 3.5 tackles-for-loss, and 2.5 sacks—fourth among Stanford defenders. He was named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in 2023 and received the Greg Piers Award for Special Teams in 2022. From Olympus · Holladay, UT.
