JJ Williams is a wide receiver for the South Alabama Jaguars. The Prattville, Alabama native attended Prattville High School, where he earned all-state and all-area honors and was named Montgomery Advertiser Player of the Year. As a junior, Williams recorded 24 touchdowns and accumulated all-purpose yards, then posted identical all-purpose yardage totals as a senior. He also competed in basketball and track. Williams chose South Alabama over offers from Jackson State, Murray State, North Alabama, and Louisiana. He is a true freshman studying nursing.
