Anthony Eager is a 6'1", 185-pound wide receiver for South Alabama from Mobile, AL. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, he appeared in one game as a true freshman in 2023 before redshirting. During his redshirt freshman season in 2024, Eager played in all 13 games and caught 10 passes for 133 yards with two touchdowns, including a 23-yard score against North Texas and four catches for 91 yards and a touchdown versus LSU. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore year, he appeared in all 12 games with four starts, recording 40 receptions for 339 yards and one receiving touchdown.
