Hudson Woods is a defensive end for SMU who was rated a three-star prospect by recruiting services. The Bulverde, Texas native attended Smithson Valley High School, where he compiled 40 total sacks during his prep career. As a sophomore in 2023, Woods earned 2023 San Antonio Newcomer of the Year honors. He followed with a junior season in 2024 that resulted in First-Team All-State recognition and the 2024 San Antonio Defensive Player of the Year award.
