Bio

Cole Gholar is a cornerback for the San José State Spartans. The 5'10", 168-pound true freshman from Vallejo, California, attended American Canyon High School, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. At American Canyon, Gholar earned four football letters and was a three-time First Team All-League selection as a cornerback and wide receiver. He helped his high school team win the Vine Valley League Championship in 2025 and the CIF-D5A State Championship in 2024. Gholar also played AAU basketball for nine years and was named Scholar-Athlete all four years of high school. He is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at SJSU.
