Lucky Sutton is a running back for San Diego State, standing 6'1" and weighing 225 pounds. A native of San Diego who attended Cathedral Catholic High School, Sutton was a three-star recruit in the 2022 class. After redshirting in 2022, he played five games during his 2023 freshman season, recording 157 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries. His 2024 sophomore campaign saw limited action in four games with five carries for 35 yards. In 2025, Sutton has emerged as a primary back, carrying 253 times for 1,292 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 5.1 yards per carry.
