Jaylon Hawkins is a wide receiver for San Diego State who hails from Argyle, Texas and attended Liberty Christian High School. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, he made his collegiate debut against Boise State on November 15, 2025, and earned his first start the following week versus San Jose State. During his true freshman season, Hawkins appeared in four games, recording seven receptions for 70 yards and four rushing attempts for 13 yards. He posted a career-long 35-yard reception against New Mexico on November 28 and hauled in one catch for 19 yards in the New Mexico Bowl against No. 25 North Texas on December 27.
