Eli Wallace is a linebacker for Sam Houston State standing 5'11" and weighing 215 pounds. A native of Dallas, Texas, Wallace attended Duncanville High School, where he recorded more than 100 tackles across his junior and senior seasons while earning all-district honors both years. He was part of consecutive state title game appearances in 2021 and 2022, culminating in a 15-0 championship season as a senior. Wallace joined the Bearkats and redshirted as a true freshman in 2023, appearing in 4 games with 1 assisted tackle. During the 2024 season, he played in 12 games, recording 3 total tackles including solo efforts against Hawai'i and UTEP. Wallace is a returning redshirt junior for the 2026 season.
