Kwabena Asamoah is a right guard for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights majoring in Labor Studies and Employment Relations. A native of Pickerington, Ohio, he played at Pickerington Central under coach Jay Sharett. Asamoah made his collegiate debut at Michigan State on November 12, 2022, and started the final three games as a freshman. He appeared in 12 games with five starts in 2023, when the offensive line led the Big Ten in fewest sacks allowed per game at 1.08. As a junior in 2024, he started all 13 games and earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors. In 2025, Asamoah started all 12 games and was selected Second Team All-America by national outlets, helping an offense that ranked third in the Big Ten in passing yards per game at 266.1.
