Jai Patel is a placekicker for Rutgers who hails from Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, and attended South Brunswick High School, where he established a program record with 22 career field goals. As a redshirt senior in 2025, Patel appeared in all 12 games and converted 13 of 18 field goal attempts (72.2 percent) with a long of 51 yards, adding 37 of 39 extra points for 76 points scored. He earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors from coaches and was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
