DJ McClary is a 6'1", 230-pound linebacker from Jersey City, New Jersey who attends Rutgers. He played at Henry Snyder High School under coach AJ Dobson, where he lined up at linebacker, running back, and quarterback. During his scholastic career, McClary accumulated 5,120 rushing yards and 64 touchdowns, 1,533 passing yards and 13 touchdowns, and 409 tackles with 71.5 tackles-for-loss. As a junior in 2023, he recorded 95 tackles, 15 tackles-for-loss, two sacks, 1,420 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns while earning first-team all-state honors. In his 2025 freshman season, McClary played in five games, totaling six tackles with one for loss, including three tackles in his collegiate debut against Norfolk State on September 13.
