Patrick Valent is a left guard for Rice, standing 6'3" and weighing 330 pounds. The Warren, Ohio native attended John F. Kennedy Catholic, where he made 59 consecutive starts at left tackle without allowing a sack and recorded 94 pancake blocks as a senior. Valent redshirted in 2023 after appearing in one game with four snaps. In 2024, he saw action in five games with seven offensive snaps.
