Don Saunders is a 6'4", 197-pound right cornerback from San Diego, CA, who began his college career at Cal Poly. As a freshman in 2022, he appeared in seven games with two starts, recording nine tackles, four passes defended and two interceptions while earning All-Big Sky Second Team honors. In 2023, his sophomore year, he appeared in 10 games and totaled 17 tackles, three interceptions and 11 pass breakups. Saunders transferred to Texas A&M in 2024, appearing in two games before redshirting his junior season. He then transferred to Utah, where he appeared in seven games as a redshirt junior in 2025, recording four tackles and two passes defended. Saunders is now a redshirt senior/transfer at Purdue.
