Sean FitzSimmons is a defensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Panthers who enrolled in January 2022 following early graduation from Central Valley High School in Pennsylvania. He appeared in two games during his redshirt freshman year, recording two tackles and a nine-yard sack. FitzSimmons made his debut in 2024 after a preseason injury delayed his arrival, starting all nine games he played and posting 32 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks. In 2025, he started 10 games, his highest total, with 25 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one sack before missing the final two regular season games due to injury.
