James Caver III is a 6'0", 182-pound safety from Montgomery, Alabama, who attended Pike Road High School before playing at Benedict College. At Benedict in 2024, he recorded 33 tackles, eight pass breakups, and one interception. Caver transferred to Old Dominion for the 2025 season and appeared in nine games, primarily on special teams and at cornerback.
