Montrell Chapman is a 6'3", 230-pound linebacker from Batesville, Mississippi, who attended South Panola High School. Chapman spent two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast CC, appearing in 20 games and accumulating 74 tackles and 5.0 tackles for loss in 2024. He recorded two interceptions and four pass breakups during his time at the junior college. Chapman redshirted in 2025 at Mississippi State, appearing in five games including the Duke's Mayo Bowl against Wake Forest, where he registered one tackle. He transfers to Old Dominion as a senior.
