Markel Ford is a true freshman safety for the Oklahoma Sooners from Mesquite, Texas, where he attended Horn High School. A consensus three-star recruit in the 2026 class, Ford registered 18 tackles, two interceptions and seven pass breakups across five games during his senior season while adding 14 receptions for 367 yards and six touchdowns on offense.
