Boubacar Traore is a 6'5", 253-pound right defensive end for Notre Dame who was recruited as a consensus four-star prospect in the 2023 class, ranking 227th overall. He made his collegiate debut in 2023 and played in five games as a freshman before suffering a season-ending injury. In 2024, he returned to action across five games, recording three sacks and five tackles for loss while leading all FBS freshmen in sacks after Week Four. As a sophomore in 2025, Traore started 11 games and led the team with 6.5 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, and 37 total tackles.
