Ronald Derrick III is a 6'5", 260-pound defensive lineman from Waco, TX, where he attended Waco University High School. At the high school level, Derrick played defensive end, defensive tackle, and tight end while also competing in basketball as a power forward. He earned District 10-5A DII Lineman of the Year honors in 2025 and contributed to Waco University's district championship. Derrick committed to Northwestern on December 2, 2025, choosing the Wildcats over Arizona, Air Force, Rice, Arkansas State, and Arizona State.
