Nicco Marchiol is a 6'2", 235-pound quarterback from Chandler, Arizona, who attended Hamilton High School before enrolling at West Virginia in January 2022. A consensus four-star recruit, he redshirted his first season in 2022. Over three seasons with the Mountaineers, Marchiol appeared in multiple games and made starts at the position. In 2025, his redshirt junior year, he was named the starting quarterback but suffered a season-ending foot injury at Kansas on 9/20 after starting the first four games. He completed 66-of-98 passes for 720 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while adding 57 rushing yards on 40 carries. Marchiol entered his redshirt senior year at Northwestern in 2026.
