Cole Shivers is a defensive back from Scottsdale, Arizona, who attended Saguaro High School as a four-year letterwinner. A consensus three-star recruit in the 2023 class, he redshirted his first year in 2023. In 2024, Shivers appeared in two games and recorded his first career tackle in a win at Maryland on October 11. He earned Academic All-Big Ten recognition that season. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, Shivers made special teams appearances across three games.
