Zachary Yang is a 5'9", 176-pound wide receiver from North Richland Hills, Texas, who prepped at Birdville HS. During his senior year, Yang caught 22 passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns across seven games and also worked as a kickoff return specialist. He joined North Texas as a redshirt freshman and did not appear in games during the 2025 season, preserving his redshirt eligibility. Yang wears No. 86 and is returning to the Mean Green roster.
