Chandler Strong is a center who transfers to North Texas from Georgia Southern. The Warner Robbins, Georgia native played in 36 games across four seasons with the Eagles, recording 32 starts and over 2,000 snaps exclusively at center. Strong made his collegiate debut as a freshman in 2022, then started all 13 games in 2023 and earned Third Team Freshman All-American recognition. He appeared in nine games in 2024 with six starts before returning to start all 13 contests in 2025, allowing just two sacks. Across his Georgia Southern career, he permitted four sacks total and helped the Eagles reach bowl games all four years, including winning the JLab Birmingham Bowl in 2025.
