Amaurey Brooks is a 6'0", 180-pound cornerback from Rancho Cucamonga, California, who played for the Fordham Rams before transferring to New Mexico State. At Rancho Cucamonga High School, Brooks recorded three interceptions as a senior in 2023 and earned Second Team All-Baseline League honors that year. He was a two-time First Team All-League selection and received the Cougar of the Year award. Brooks appeared in four games during his 2024 freshman season at Fordham before playing in 11 games in 2025, recording three total tackles and one forced fumble.
