A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Ochoa made his collegiate debut in the Pinstripe Bowl against Boston College during his redshirt year in 2024. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, he appeared in four games, recording one tackle, 0.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks, including a split sack against Akron.
