Jacob Bower is a 6'1", 220-pound weakside linebacker from Rancho Santa Margarita, California, who walked on at Nebraska after graduating from Santa Margarita Catholic High School. He redshirted in 2023, then appeared in six games in 2024 as a redshirt freshman, recording his first career tackle against Northern Iowa. In 2025, Bower played in all 13 games, totaling eight tackles including two solo stops at Penn State and two more against Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl. He earned his first Big Ten tackle against No. 23 USC. Bower is a three-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team and a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
