Eric Ingwerson is a tight end for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The 6'7", 255-pound sophomore from Papillion, Nebraska, attended Papillion-La Vista High School, where he competed on both offense and defense. As a senior, he caught four touchdown passes while his team averaged 227 yards per game rushing and finished 8-2 with a Class A state playoff appearance. Defensively, he recorded 52 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks, earning first-team Super-State honors. Ingwerson redshirted in 2024 after making his Husker debut against UTEP in one game. He played in eight games during the 2025 redshirt freshman season. A two-time Tom Osborne Citizenship Team selection and Academic All-Big Ten honoree, Ingwerson is a criminology and criminal justice major. From Papillion-La Vista · Papillion, NE.
