Toran Smith is a junior center for Navy, standing 6'2" and weighing 277 pounds. A 2024 graduate of Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Oklahoma, Smith made his collegiate debut in the Midshipmen's opener against VMI in 2025. He appeared in 9 games that season, starting in 3 of them, including Navy's American opener victory over UAB. Smith recorded his first collegiate tackle in the Rice game, combining with Brandon Chatman to bring down interceptor Plae Wyatt.
