Xai'Shaun Edwards is a running back from League City, Texas who attended Clear Springs High School before joining Houston Christian. As a true freshman in 2024, Edwards appeared in three games and rushed four times for 19 yards. During the 2025 season, he had a breakout campaign with 1,061 rushing yards across 12 games, 12 rushing touchdowns, and 5.3 yards per carry. He added 12 receptions for 106 yards and recorded three 100-yard rushing performances, including a career-high 214 yards against Northwestern State.
