Will Whitson is a 6'5", 295-pound defensive end from Cincinnati, Ohio, who transferred to Mississippi State as a graduate student. He spent three seasons at Independence Community College (2020-22), recording 63 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss, and 8.0 sacks across 21 games. After earning junior college All-Conference honors, Whitson joined Coastal Carolina in 2023 as a senior, appearing in 13 games with nine starts and posting 42 tackles, 5.0 TFLs, and 3.0 sacks.
