Rhyland Kelly is a redshirt senior defensive back for Minnesota who hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and attended Clearwater Academy International. Kelly has appeared in all 13 games in each of the past two seasons, primarily on special teams. In 2024, his sophomore year, he recorded four tackles and one tackle for loss across 13 contests. During the 2025 season, Kelly appeared in all 13 games and made one tackle. He joined the program in 2022 as a three-star recruit and has earned four letters in his five years with the Gophers.
