Bryce Underwood, a 6'4" quarterback from Belleville, Michigan, arrived at Michigan as the nation's top-ranked recruit in the 2025 class. Starting all 13 games as a true freshman in 2025, Underwood completed 202 of 335 pass attempts for 2,428 yards with 11 touchdowns and 9 interceptions while adding 88 carries for 392 yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. He earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on September 15 and was named the team's Rookie of the Year on Offense. Underwood became the fourth true freshman quarterback to start for the Wolverines, joining Rick Leach, Chad Henne, and Tate Forcier. At Belleville High School, he posted a 50-4 record as a four-year starter with two state championships and compiled 11,488 passing yards and 152 passing touchdowns. From Belleville · Detroit, MI.
