Deuce Edwards is a safety from Richmond, VA, who attended Trinity Episcopal School. He was ranked among the top overall prospects in Virginia's Class of 2025 by major recruiting services, including No. 16 by Rivals, No. 23 by recruiting services. Edwards earned All-Virginia Prep League honors as a defensive back and was named Trinity Episcopal School Male Athlete of the Year in 2024-25. He is a cousin of former Michigan State wide receiver Felton Davis III, who lettered for the Spartans from 2015-18.
