Jontavius Wyman is a true freshman defensive back for the Miami Hurricanes from Jonesboro, Georgia. A four-star recruit in the 2026 class, Wyman earned top-30 cornerback honors from national outlets and held rankings ranging from No. 257 to No. 371 nationally across major services. During his senior season, he recorded 48 receptions for 869 yards and 10 touchdowns while also posting defensive statistics of 52 tackles, three tackles for loss, and three interceptions, two returned for scores. He was named 3-4A Region Player of the Year and earned Super 11 recognition from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Wyman also competed in track and field and chose Miami over scholarship offers from Georgia, USC, Oregon, Florida State, Notre Dame, and Texas.
