Daylyn Upshaw is a 6'0", 195-pound wide receiver from Columbus, GA who attended Central High School in Alabama. A four-star recruit ranked 473rd overall in the 2025 class, he committed to Miami over offers from programs including Georgia, Florida State, and Texas. In his 2025 true freshman debut, Upshaw appeared in six games and recorded seven receptions for 105 yards, including a career-long 41-yard catch against Syracuse on November 8. He posted one reception in each of his final four regular-season contests, with catches of 26 yards against Bethune-Cookman, 8 yards versus NC State, 19 yards at Virginia Tech, and 11 yards at Pitt.
