Charlie Harrell is a safety from Bartlett, Tennessee, who attended Christian Brothers High School. He joined Memphis as a freshman in 2023, appearing in four games before redshirting that season. The following year as a redshirt freshman, Harrell saw action in all 13 games for the 11-2 Tigers, who won the Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl against West Virginia.
