Zachary Franks is a 6'5", 310-pound left tackle from Baltimore, Maryland, who arrives at Massachusetts as a graduate transfer. A three-star prospect from The Gilman School, Franks played at Northwestern from 2019–23, appearing in 18 games with two starts. He competed in bowl games following the 2020 and 2023 seasons, including a 14-7 victory over Utah in 2023. Franks earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern in June 2023 and completed a master's degree in June 2024 before spending the 2024 season at Duke as a graduate transfer.
