Owen Anderson is a tight end for the Massachusetts Minutemen who transferred from Illinois after appearing in the Illini's 2023 opener against Toledo. A three-star recruit from The Hun School in Princeton, New Jersey, Anderson was ranked among the top tight ends nationally in the 2022 class. In his first season at UMass in 2024, he appeared in 12 games and recorded two receptions for 13 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown reception at Mississippi State on November 2. During the 2025 campaign, Anderson saw action in 12 games and totaled 31 yards on three receptions with one touchdown, posting a career-long reception of 12 yards.
