Jackson Hamilton is a redshirt freshman quarterback for the Maryland Terrapins from Houston, TX. A three-star recruit at his position, Hamilton was evaluated by recruiting services as a dual-threat QB. During his sophomore season at Manvel High School in 2022, he threw for 1,413 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for 225 yards and three touchdowns. He committed to Maryland over Houston, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt. Hamilton did not appear in game action during the 2025 season and is currently on the roster as a returning player.
