Jacob Smith is a 6'4", 235-pound weak-side linebacker from Corbin, Kentucky, who transferred to Louisville from the University of Kentucky. A four-star high school prospect ranked as the state's No. 2 recruit and a top-20 edge rusher by Rivals, Smith recorded 103 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks during his senior season at Corbin, earning first-team all-state honors and Under Armour All-American recognition. In 2024, he saw action in four games for Kentucky, including his first collegiate tackle versus Ohio.
