Tye Hylton is a 6'5", 290-pound right tackle from Oviedo, Florida, who transfers to Louisiana Tech as a redshirt sophomore. A consensus three-star recruit ranked 715th overall in the 2024 class, he did not appear in games during his time at Florida State, spending 2024 and 2025 on the scout team. In high school, Hylton started as a junior left tackle and helped Oviedo to a district championship and regional semifinal appearance. His senior season, the Lions rushed for 2,210 yards and 22 touchdowns while averaging 8.2 yards per carry. He also competed in track and field as a thrower. From Oviedo HS · Oviedo, FL.
