Baron Hopson is a linebacker for Kennesaw State who transferred from Jackson State. The 6'1", 222-pound Leesburg, Georgia native played in all 13 games as a sophomore at Jackson State in 2022, recording 51.0 tackles and 7.5 tackles for loss. After joining the Owls, he appeared in four games during 2023 before receiving a redshirt. In 2025 as a redshirt senior, Hopson started all 14 games and logged 139 total tackles with 10.0 tackles for loss, one interception, and six pass breakups.
