As a junior, he earned first-team all-state recognition from PA Football News and Pennsylvania Football Writers. national outlets ranked him the 54th-best offensive tackle in the Class of 2024, while Rivals rated him the 18th-best prospect in Pennsylvania. Howard redshirted during his 2024 freshman season and did not appear in games in 2025.
