Derrick Salley Jr. is a 6'3", 234-pound wide receiver from Green Pond, South Carolina, transferring to Kansas State from Hutchinson Community College. At Ashley Ridge High School, he recorded 2,027 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior, setting a state record in receptions. Playing for the Blue Dragons, Salley compiled 71 receptions for 1,168 yards and 18 touchdowns across two seasons. As a sophomore in 2025, he posted 52 catches for 851 yards and 13 scores, earning First Team All-America honors while helping lead Hutchinson to the NJCAA National Championship Game.
