Turner Schmidt is a 6'4", 245-pound right defensive end from Hilliard, Ohio, where he was a three-time All-State selection at Hilliard Davidson and helped the Wildcats reach the OHSAA playoffs in three consecutive seasons. A dual-sport athlete, Schmidt was a 2024 track state champion. He transferred to James Madison after playing at Robert Morris, where he appeared in all 12 games in 2024 and recorded 16 tackles (six solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.
