Micah Matthews is a wide receiver from Bridgewater, Virginia, who attended Turner Ashby High School. A four-star recruit, he was ranked as the nation's #182 overall prospect by national outlets and #5 recruit from Virginia. As a junior, Matthews recorded 86 receptions for 1,476 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 17.2 yards per catch, and led the Knights to an 11-2 season. He also competed in baseball, earning All-State honors as an outfielder in 2023. Matthews transferred to James Madison from Virginia Tech, where he did not appear in game action during 2025.
