Kadyn Mitchell is a quarterback for Jacksonville State from Dothan, Alabama, where he attended Houston Academy. During his high school career, Mitchell was a four-time Super 12 selection and two-time all-state honoree, earning 3A Back of the Year. He compiled over 10,000 career passing yards and 100 career touchdown passes. In his senior season, Mitchell passed for 3,401 yards and 44 touchdowns while adding 400 rushing yards. He threw for 388 yards and four touchdowns in the state championship game. Mitchell redshirted in 2025 and returns as a redshirt freshman. From Dothan, AL.
