JQ Brooks is a 6'3", 180-pound cornerback from Bessemer, Alabama who attended Hueytown High School. A three-star recruit ranked 1309 nationally in the 2025 class, Brooks was selected to the North/South All-Star Game and ranked among the top 50 players in his state. His high school team compiled a 9-4 record and went 6-0 in 6A Region 4 competition.
