David Alpers III is a tight end from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who attended O'Gorman High School where he earned two all-state selections. He played for South Dakota State, appearing in 15 games during the 2024 season and recording nine catches for 164 yards and a touchdown as the Jackrabbits finished 12-3 and reached the national semifinal.
