Will Lockhart is a 6'3", 250-pound defensive lineman from Denver, Iowa, who joined Iowa as a true freshman in 2025. At Denver High School, he earned three all-district selections and was named first-team all-district as a senior. He compiled 37 tackles (19 solo), 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, and two fumble recoveries across his high school career, and served as team captain in both his junior and senior seasons. Lockhart also competed in track and field as a three-year letterwinner, finishing third at the state meet in discus as a senior and setting a school record with a throw of 167 feet.
